The goal of the project was to design a net zero single dwelling unit in efforts to help attack the problem of homelessness and to create a more affordable housing unit that can be used as a module and configurable for different user groups. With the help of our team, we researched, designed, and brainstormed different sustainable methods to create a sustainable single dwelling unit. The project below is a “solo” project that was developed by the research and work done for the Solar Decathlon 2022 Project (Woodbury Team).

Phase 2 of the project was done outside of class as part-time work where the project was developed into the First 3D Printed home in Los Angeles called the "Solar Future House." The 3D Printed Home currently resides in Woodbury University (Burbank, CA) and is used as part of the University's dorming for students.
